Most children can start playing with LaQ from 4 years old.

LaQ engages children in sensory play using:

Sight - over 12 bright visually appealing colours.

Sound - LaQ parts make a fun "snap" sound when connecting, letting you know that the parts are firmly connected.

Touch - which starts with the feel of the high Japanese quality, but also from the satisfying Snap connection. To some people, this is similar to popping bubble wrap!

LEARNING WITH LAQ

Starting with flat 2D models. The 2D models are made with parts #1, #2, #3 and #4 only. Starting with lifesize 2D templates, children learn how to follow simple instructions.

Creating simple 3D models. Children rapidly move onto building simpler 3D models, developing  their fine motor skills and spatial ability.

Mastering techniques. More advanced models require building groups of parts together, and connection of groups together. The special Hamacron wheel and shaft parts, allow even more possibilities.
